We accept HICAPS on-the-spot claiming, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and cash. With HICAPS, you only pay the gap after claiming from your health fund on the spot.

Health Fund Claims and HICAPS

We have HICAPS available at the clinic for on-the-spot claiming. This means you can swipe your health fund card at the end of your appointment and only pay the gap.

How it works:

  1. Bring your health fund card (card or digital) to your appointment

  2. At the end of your session, we process your claim through HICAPS

  3. You pay only the difference between your health fund rebate and the appointment fee

  4. A receipt is provided for your records

Making the most of your health fund:

Health Fund Compliance

To comply with health fund requirements, claims can only be processed after treatment has been provided, under the service category received and by the practitioner who provided your treatment.

We appreciate your understanding that we cannot alter service types or provider details for claiming purposes.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Missed appointments may be charged the full appointment fee.

We understand that genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise and will always take these into consideration.

Medicare EPC Referrals

If you have an EPC (Chronic Disease Management) referral from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate towards your chiropractic appointment.

A valid referral and care plan must be provided before your appointment.

Eligible patients can access up to 5 Medicare-subsidised allied health appointments per calendar year, shared across all eligible allied health services. The current Medicare rebate for chiropractic under an EPC referral is $61.80, which is applied towards the cost of your appointment.

Please note that Medicare rebates do not cover the full consultation fee and a gap payment will apply.

Pre-Pay Packages

Pre-pay for 10 appointments and get 1 extra appointment credit free (the value of 1 appointment). Your payment is stored on your file as account credit, and you can use it for massage or chiropractic.

Using Your Pre-Pay Credit

HICAPS on the day (if eligible): We process your health fund claim, and your credit can be used toward any gap payment.

Claim later (if eligible): Your credit covers the full fee on the day, and we provide a receipt for you to claim with your fund.

Using HICAPS on the day is optional. We are happy to do whichever you prefer.

Flexible and Shareable

Your pre-pay credit is flexible and shareable. You can use your credit for any eligible massage or chiropractic appointment, share it with family and friends, and apply it towards optional add-ons: cupping ($8) and dry needling ($10) can be paid from your account credit or on the day.

Conditions

Pre-pay packages are not refundable except in exceptional circumstances. Credit expires 3 years from purchase date, and prices are locked in for 2 years from purchase date.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?

Bring your health fund card (card or digital) if you would like to claim on the spot through HICAPS. No referral is needed for any of our services.

When can I claim through my health fund?

Health fund claims can only be processed after you have received your treatment. Claims cannot be submitted in advance, including when purchasing pre-pay credit or using remaining annual benefits before they expire.

Can I claim more than one service on the same day?

Yes. If you receive different services on the same day (for example, remedial massage and chiropractic), you can usually claim both through HICAPS under their respective categories, subject to your health fund's rules and available benefits. Most health funds will not provide multiple rebates for the same type of service on the same day (for example, two massage appointments). If you are unsure, please check directly with your health fund.

Is naturopathy covered by health funds?

Some private health insurance policies with extras cover include rebates for naturopathy. Check with your health fund for details of your cover and available benefits.

How does the pre-pay credit work with different session lengths?

Your credit is stored as a dollar balance. You can use it towards any massage session length. For example, if you pre-paid based on 60-minute sessions, you could use the credit for a combination of 30, 45, 60 or 90-minute bookings.

Can I share my pre-pay credit?

Yes. Pre-pay credit can be used by family members and friends.
